Mersawa
Mersawa - when newly cut, the heartwood is yellow-brown with a pink tinge, it darkens to a straw-brown on exposure Hardwood. Mersawa has an interlocked grain with a moderately coarse and even texture. It can be used for furniture, flooring, veneer, boxes and crates, paneling, moulding, joinery, sliced veneer, formwork etc.
